How long does it take for a payment to settle?

For EUR transfers to a bank account domiciled in SEPA (the Single Euro Payments Area), it can take a maximum of 3 working days (usually it is 1 or 2 business days). For international transfers made via SWIFT (the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), it may take up to 5 working days for funds to reach the beneficiary’s account.

Please note that in some cases an intermediary bank can hold the payment and request additional information, the payment may be held until the intermediary bank has received and processed all requested information.
